Who we are

MATERIA ("we") is operated by Adomas Stankevičius, Lithuania. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: stankevicius.adomas@gmail.com.

What we collect

Account data: your studio/workspace name, email address, and a workspace password (stored hashed). Content you upload: 3D screenshots, floor plans, material sample photos, product photos, and the renders we generate from them. Usage data: actions in the app (uploads, renders, fixes) with technical context — IP address, coarse location (country/city), and browser user agent. Billing data: handled by our payment provider; we never see or store card numbers.

Why we collect it

To provide the service (your images are processed by AI models to produce renders), to bill you, to prevent abuse, to measure which parts of the product are used, and to fix bugs. We do not sell personal data, run third-party advertising, or use advertising trackers.

IP addresses & retention

IP addresses and browser context attached to usage events are kept for at most 90 days and then removed automatically. Account data is kept while your workspace exists. Your uploaded images and renders are kept until you delete them or your workspace is closed.

Your images

Your projects are private to your workspace. We never use your images as marketing material or to train AI models without your written consent. Images are sent to our AI processing providers solely to generate your renders.

Processors we use

Vercel (hosting and cookieless website analytics, USA/EU), Supabase (database and image storage), Google (Gemini API — processes your images to generate renders), fal.ai (image segmentation). Each processes data only on our instructions.

Cookies

One essential cookie keeps you logged in to your workspace. Our analytics are cookieless. There is nothing to consent to, so there is no cookie banner.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, ask for a copy in a portable format, or object to processing — email stankevicius.adomas@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will note it here with a new date and inform active workspaces by email.
